Vol. 158 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Casement Documents.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether he has seen a recent report that the British Government had entered into a concordat with the Irish Government to say nothing about the alleged "Casement Diaries", and, if so, if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have seen a published statement of the nature to which the Deputy refers.

The Irish Government has not at any time entered into a concordat or any other form of agreement with the British Government concerning any aspect of the alleged "Casement Diaries".
