asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state in respect of County Mayo the number of applications received for boats under the Fíor-Ghaeltacht scheme, and whether it is hoped to provide any applicants with boats in the near future.

The answer to the first part of the question is 17. As to the second part, no decision has yet been made as to any of the applications received but the Deputy may be assured that as suitable boats become available for issue under the scheme those applicants from County Mayo who come within its terms will receive every consideration.
