Apart from the commonages which, with other cases of a similar nature, await action under the Forestry Act, 1956, the Department recently agreed to purchase in this district an area of 36 acres and investigation of title is now being put in hands.
I could not, of course, forecast whether this or the other cases mentioned will be actually acquired by the Department during the current year.
