My Department will be only too glad to consider the acquisition of any suitable land offered to it for forestry purposes in the Doneraile area or elsewhere. Eight offers of land near Doneraile totalling 1,872 acres are actually under consideration at the moment but proceedings have not yet reached an advanced stage.
