The total amount received in respect of special import levies from 14th March to 20th October, 1956, inclusive was £2,148,787. Of this amount £56,233 was collected in the year ended 31st March last and £2,092,554 in the current year.
I may add that the Exchequer receipt of special import levies is published weekly in Iris Oifigiúil.
