Vol. 160 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Doolin Phosphate Mines.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will have the possibility of reopening the Doolin phosphate mines investigated.

The Deputy will appreciate that the reopening of these mines is a matter for private enterprise. I will be prepared to grant any necessary facilities, under the Minerals Development Act, 1940, in relation to the deposits, to an applicant who can satisfy the customary conditions as to financial and technical resources.
