Vol. 160 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fair Trading Rules.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether it was on their own initiative, or at the request of an association representing persons engaged in the supply and distribution of the goods to which they refer, that the Fair Trade Commission made Fair Trading Rules (Serial No. 10); and what section of the industry or trade affected by the Rules requested the Commission to take action in the matter.

I am informed by the Fair Trade Commission that these Rules were made on the Commission's own initiative.
