Written Answers. - Dún Laoghaire Unemployed Housing Workers.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state the number of (a) skilled tradesmen in the building industry and (b) builders' labourers on the live register at Dún Laoghaire employment exchange at the latest available date, and at the corresponding dates in each of the years 1950 to 1955.

Statistics are not compiled to enable the precise information asked for at (a) of the question to be given. In the following statement particulars are shown of (a) the numbers of skilled workers in those trades normally associated with the building industry, and (b) builders' labourers, registered at Dún Laoghaire Employment Exchange on the dates indicated.
