Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Old Age, Widows' and Orphans' Pensions.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare whether he proposes to introduce legislation (a) to increase the old age pension to 30/– a week and to abolish the means test, and (b) to increase the benefits for widows and orphans.

It is not at present proposed to introduce legislation for the purposes indicated in the Question.
