Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wheat and Wheaten Offals.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in respect of the period 1st January, 1956 to 1st January, 1957 (a) the total quantity of wheat milled in Irish mills, (b) the average cost per ton of wheat, (c) the total quantity of wheaten offals produced by Irish mills and the average price per ton charged for such offals, and (d) the total quantity of wheaten offals imported and the price per ton of such offals.

The statistics which are compiled in the Department do not yield the desired information for the period to which the Deputy's question relates. Figures for this period are being specially taken out and will be supplied if he will repeat his question when the Dáil meets after Easter.
