Vol. 161 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition and Division of Wicklow Estate.

andMr. O'Toole asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in regard to the Greenacres estate, Tombreen, Carnew, County Wicklow, (1) the date of acquisition, (2) when the Land Commission propose to divide the lands, and (3) if the claims of all the local uneconomic holders and landless men will be fully considered before any scheme of division is prepared.

Possession of this estate was obtained in December, 1955. Work on the preparation of a resale scheme for the lands is in progress but it is not possible to indicate at present when allotment will take place. The claims of all applicants will be fully considered in connection with the division of the lands.
