Vol. 162 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Transport in Donegal.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will give an assurance that, before accepting the proposals of the Six Counties' Government regarding transport in that area, he will consider their impact on County Donegal; and whether he will make suitable alternative arrangements to meet the transport requirements of the county.

Very careful consideration is being given to the effect on County Donegal of the proposed closing of certain G.N.R. lines in the Six Counties. The answer to the last part of the question is in the affirmative.
