Vol. 162 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Limerick Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if, in view of the fact that the Land Commission have acquired the lands of the Hartigan estate, Boher, Meanus, County Limerick, he will state the cause of the delay in dividing them among the local uneconomic holders.

The Land Commission did not get possession of these lands until February last. As it was not possible to frame a final resale scheme or to carry out the improvement works necessary to permit of allotment last spring, the lands have been let for the current season. It is expected that they will be allotted early next year.
