Tá Seanad Éireann tar éis an Rún seo a leanas a rith:—
Go n-aontaíonn Seanad Éireann le Dáil Éireann ina Rún a cuireadh in iúl do Sheanad Éireann and 29ú lá de Bhealtaine, 1957, go bhfuil sé oiriúnach Comh-Choiste ar a mbeidh seachtar comhaltaí de Dháil Éireann agus seachtar comhaltaí de Sheanad Eireann a bhunú cun cúnamh agus comhairle a thabhairt don Cheann Comhairle agus don Chathaoirleach i stiúradh agus i rialú Leabharlann an Oireachtais.
Targim:—
Go gceapfar Rogha-Choiste de sheachtar comhaltaí a bheas le comhcheangal le Rogha-Choiste a cheapfas Seanad Éireann chun cúnamh agus comhairle a thabhairt don Cheann Comhairle agus don Chathaoirleach i dtreoradh agus i stiúradh Leabharlainne an Oireachtais;
Gur beirt an córam;
Gurb é an Coiste Roghnaitheoireachta a ainmneos an Coiste.
Seanad Éireann has passed the following Resolution:—
That Seanad Éireann concur with Dáil Éireann in their Resolution communicated to Seanad Éireann on 29th day of May, 1957, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee consisting of seven members of Dáil Éireann and seven members of Seanad Éireann be set up to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Library.
I move:—
That a Select Committee consisting of seven members be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee to be appointed by Seanad Éireann to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Library;
That the quorum be two;
That the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection.
