The Commissioners of Public Works have been asked by the Minister for Agriculture to furnish engineering advice on the question of repairing the existing pier or constructing a new one at Faulmore, Surgeview, County Mayo. Before a report can be furnished it will be necessary to make a detailed survey of the site, which it is hoped to carry out this year.
The works at Porturlin have been completed.
Is it not a fact that such a survey and such a detailed examination were year?
Not on that part. According to my information, it has not. I shall have the matter investigated.
