The 1956 volume index numbers of gross agricultural output, including changes in live-stock numbers, to base 1938-39 =100, were (a) 112.0 excluding turf and (b) 109.7 including turf. The corresponding volume index numbers of net agricultural output in 1956 were (a) 114.8 and (b) 111.9.
