Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Civilian Personnel in Defence Forces.

asked the Minister for Defence whether it has been the practice, when recruiting civilian personnel, to give special consideration to applicants having national service records.

It has been and is the practice of my Department, in common with other Government Departments, to give preference for subordinate employment under the Department to applicants with certain specified national service.
