Vol. 164 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing of Army Married Personnel, Limerick.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the position with regard to the provision of houses for married personnel in Sarsfield Barracks, Limerick.

The provision of additional married quarters at this barracks is still under consideration as part of a scheme to improve the housing conditions of married soldiers at the larger military centres.

I would ask the Minister to expedite a decision in this matter, in view of the fact that there are 1,400 families in Limerick looking for houses.

Not Army personnel.
