Vol. 164 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Telephone Kiosk.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether, in order to facilitate residents in Albert Road and Hibernian Buildings, Cork City, in making personal and business emergency calls, he will consider the erection of a telephone kiosk on Albert Road.

The provision of a telephone kiosk on Albert Road is not warranted. There are already three kiosks in the vicinity and a public telephone in Albert Quay Railway Station, all within reasonably convenient distances of Albert Road and Hibernian Buildings.
