Vol. 164 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballycroy (Mayo) Dispensary.

asked the Minister for Health whether he is yet in a position to give his decision on the proposal to have a dispensary erected at Ballycroy, Westport, County Mayo.

In my reply on the 12th June last to a similar question from the Deputy, I stated that the local authority's proposal to erect a combined dispensary and residence at Ballycroy had been approved by my Department and that a formal application from the local authority for an appropriate loan from the Local Loans Fund to defray the cost of erecting the proposed dispensary was awaited. This application has since been received and my Department issued a recommendation to the Office of Public Works on the 5th November for the grant of the necessary loan from the Local Loans Fund.
