Vol. 164 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Tipperary Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have yet come to a decision concerning the division of the O'Meara lands, Ballyscanlon, Coolbaun, Nenagh, County Tipperary.

Final arrangements regarding the division of this estate have not yet been made but there will be no avoidable delay in the allotment of the lands.

Is the Minister aware that on this land, which was acquired from a working man, there are five acres set in corn crop and is the Minister aware that the tenants who will get this land will not be able to till it because it will have gone out of fertility?

I am aware of the conditions and the Land Commission will do everything in their power to reduce the delay.
