Vol. 164 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kinsale Harbour.

andMr. Manley asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether his Department has yet considered the results of the survey and diver's inspection made in Kinsale harbour, County Cork, in connection with the Kinsale Harbour Commissioners' application for a grant, made in 1955, towards the repair of the pier and the slipways.

A report on the survey carried out at Kinsale harbour, which was received in my Department in July, 1957, has been under consideration. It disclosed that the work primarily required there, to cater for existing fishery interests, consists of repairs to the pier, slipways and navigation buoys. I hope to be in a position to make an appropriate recommendation in the matter at an early date.
