Vol. 164 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rehabilitation of Crippled and Handicapped Persons.

asked the Minister for Health whether it will be possible to provide a local authority rehabilitation service in the near future for crippled and handicapped persons.

The interim report of the National Organisation for Rehabilitation, which was established to inquire into the problems associated with the provision of a rehabilitation service, has only recently been received and is under examination. Pending the completion of this examination, I am unable to make any statement in the matter.
