Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Road Fund Allocations to Kildare.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of each of the last three years the amounts from the Road Fund (a) allocated to, and (b) expended by (1) the Kildare County Council, (2) Naas Urban Council, (3) Athy Urban Council, and (4) Newbridge Town Commissioners.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement, which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.

NOTE 1.—The expenditure figures include, with regard to main road maintenance, only the recoupable proportion of expenditure, viz., 40%.

NOTE 2.—Expenditure is taken as expenditure of the local authority during the periods in question and may include expenditure on foot of grants allocated in earlier years.
