I understand that the recent increases in flour prices are attributable, in the main, to two factors—the increase in the average cost of native wheat from the 1957 harvest as compared with that of the wheat from the 1956 harvest, and the increase in the proportion of native wheat in the grist from 66? per cent. to 79 per cent.
