Vol. 166 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Income-Tax Concessions: Reciprocity with German Republic.

asked the Minister for Finance whether any agreement has been reached with the Federal German Republic in regard to reciprocal income-tax concessions and, if so, if he will give details.

Preliminary steps have been taken with a view to negotiations with the Federal Republic of Germany for a reciprocal double taxation convention with respect to taxes on income. The Deputy will appreciate that it is not possible at this stage to say whether and, if so, when such a convention may be concluded. If and when there is agreement the matter will be brought before Dáil Éireann.
