Vol. 166 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Town Plan for Dublin.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is in a position to make a statement in relation to the town plan for the City of Dublin, and if he will state when it is likely to be put into operation.

The period in which objections to the scheme could be submitted expired on 16th July, 1957. Some 1,200 objections have been received and are being examined and scheduled preparatory to the holding of a public local inquiry. At this stage it is not possible to say when the scheme is likely to be put into operation.
