Vol. 166 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Importation of Timber Handles.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that various timber handles suitable for hammers, brushes and other articles are being imported by Government Departments such as the Office of Public Works and, if so, whether he will take such steps as he considers necessary to have native materials used.

Handles as separate articles are not imported by any Government Department. The second part of the Deputy's question does not, therefore, arise.
