Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unemployed in Westmeath Districts.

asked the Taoiseach if he will indicate the number of men unemployed in the (1) Ballynacargy and (2) Multyfarnham districts, Mullingar, County Westmeath.

The allocation to the District Electoral Division in which they reside of men with claims for unemployment benefit and applications for unemployment assistance current is made only for a date in January of each year. For 25th January, 1958, there were 22 men on the Live Register who resided in the District Electoral Divisions of Kilbixy and Sonna in which the village of Ballynacargy is situated. At the same date there were ten men on the Live Register who resided in the District Electoral Division of Multyfarnham in which the village of Multyfarnham is situated.
