Vol. 167 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Industry for Baltimore.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he granted an interview to Mr. Frank Hennessy, the representative of the United Irish Societies of Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A., during the latter's visit to Ireland in March last; and whether, arising out of the interview, he has any statement to make regarding the question of an industry for Baltimore, County Cork.

I did not meet Mr. Hennessy. I would, of course, be glad to consider any sound proposal for the establishment of an industry at Baltimore, and to afford all possible assistance towards bringing it to fruition.
