Vol. 167 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imports of Wheat Offals, Pollard and Bran.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state (a) the amount of wheat offals, pollard and bran imported this year, (b) the countries of origin and (c) the price paid.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing imports of corn offals in the first three months of this year. The figures relate to the commodity descriptions prescribed in the official import list; this list does not require importers to distinguish wheat offals from those (if any) derived from other grain.

Following is the statement:—

IMPORTS of Corn Offals in the three months January—March, 1958.
