Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition and Division of Sligo Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the position regarding the Rathmore portion of the O'Hara estate, County Sligo; whether it has been acquired; and, if so, when it will be divided.

This estate has not yet been acquired. Price negotiations have been completed but title has yet to be lodged on behalf of the owner.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring the lands of Donald Stuart, Riverstown, County Sligo, for distribution among the small farmers of this area; and, if so, with what result.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for acquisition of this estate. I understand that the lands have been sold recently.
