Vol. 168 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allocation of West Galway Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission intend to allocate to the tenants the lands known as the Blake estate, Ballinahown, Keeraun, Cloughmore, Ballintleava, Rossaveale Upper and Lower, which are held by the Land Commission at present.

To facilitate rearrangement of holdings on the Blake estate, the Land Commission have migrated a number of tenants from the district in the past few years. I am hopeful that rearrangement proposals can be formulated this year particularly if the necessary co-operation by the tenants is forthcoming.
