Vol. 168 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Tipperary Farm.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Cahill farm at Ballyboy, Clogheen, has been acquired by the Land Commission, or whether its acquisition has been considered; and, if so, if he will state the size of the farm, the reason for its acquisition or proposed acquisition, and how it is proposed to dispose of it.

This holding was resumed by the Land Commission by agreement with the tenant. It comprises 64 acres and was resumed for the relief of congestion. It is expected that arrangements for the disposal of the lands will be completed this year.
