Written Answers. - Income-Tax Liabilities.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the estimated percentage distribution of income-tax liability over various sectors of the community in 1938-39 and 1958-59 in a form similar to Table 50, page 77 of the Report of the Committee of Inquiry into Taxation on Industry (Pr. 3512).

The latest year for which material is available, on which an estimate could be based, is the year 1956-57. The estimated percentages for that year are as follows:—
