Vol. 168 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sales of Wet-time Stamps.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state the average weekly number of wet-time stamps sold in the Dublin area in the first quarter of each of the years 1950 to 1958, inclusive.

The information required by the Deputy is not available as statistics of wet-time stamp sales are not maintained on an area basis.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state the average weekly number of wet-time stamps sold in the first quarter of each of the years 1950 to 1958, inclusive.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

AVERAGE weekly number of wet-time stamps sold at Post Offices and, from 13th July, 1953, to holders of impressed stamping machines, in the first quarter of each of the years 1950 to 1957,* inclusive.
