Vol. 168 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing of Stamping Branch.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he has made plans to re-house the stamping branch in Dublin Castle if its present location proves to be unsafe; and if he will give an assurance that the activities of this section of his Department will not be interrupted under any circumstances.

It has been decided to erect a new building for the stamping branch at Dublin Castle, but some time is likely to elapse before construction work commences. I am advised that the accommodation at present occupied by the branch can continue to be occupied until the proposed new premises are ready.
