Vol. 168 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Santry Road By-Pass

asked the Minister for Local Government whether there are plans in his Department for the Santry Road by-pass; and, if so, when they are likely to be approved.

Plans for the construction of the Santry by-pass have been submitted by the Dublin Corporation to my Department. I have informed the corporation that I see no objection to their utilising the layout proposed in the documents submitted by them as a basis for the initiation of proposals for the carrying out of the scheme. Approval to the actual scheme cannot be given until the land acquisition involved has been effected by agreement or otherwise.
