Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wool Prices.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will make a statement on wool prices, the reduction in which is causing anxiety to farmers all over the country.

The vast bulk of our wool production is exported, and prices are largely determined by those on the export market. As the Deputy is, no doubt, aware, world prices of wool have declined from the levels of previous years.
