Vol. 171 No. 7

Written Answers. - Cost of Hired Farm Labour.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state separately in connection with the National Farm Survey the average weekly cost of one hired labour unit in respect of farms of (a) 100-200 acres, (b) over 200 acres, and (c) under 100 acres (if figures are readily available).

The annual cost of current hired labour per hired labour unit, reduced to a weekly basis, as derived from the National Farm Survey for 1956-57 and 1957-58 is given in the following statement, for farms of 50-100 acres, 100-200 acres and over 200 acres.
