asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of the recent National Loan the amounts applied for by applicants for (1) up to £500, (2) over £500 and under £1,000, (3) over £1,000 and under £5,000, (4) over £5,000 and under £10,000, (5) over £10,000 and under £50,000, (6) over £50,000 and under £100,000, (7) over £100,000 and under £250,000, and (8) over £250,000.

Following is the available information:—

As regards (c) and (d) of the question the only information available is that in accordance with the terms of the prospectus relating to the loan the Minister for Finance applied for and was allotted in full £2,000,000 stock of the issue.
