Vol. 171 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Caherdavin (Limerick) Sewer.

37.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received any proposals from Limerick Corporation and from Limerick County Council for the construction of a sewer at Caherdavin; and if he will state the present position and the number of houses for which the sewer will cater.

I have received outline proposals from Limerick Corporation and Limerick County Council for a joint sewerage scheme to serve the Caherdavin district, and have given my approval thereto. It is now a matter for the local authorities to have contract documents prepared. The scheme is designed to cater for approximately 850 houses when the area is developed.
