I move:—
That it be an instruction to the Committee on the Third Amendment of the Constitution Bill, 1958, that on resumption of the debate on Section 2 of the Schedule it has power to consider each of the subsections of that section separately; and the Chairman may put the question on each sub-section:—
That in Parts I and II such sub-section stand part of the Schedule.
It has, I understand, been generally agreed that it would be reasonable and proper that on sub-section (1), sub-section (2) and sub-section (3) of the Schedule there would be a separate discussion in Committee and a separate decision taken, and that a separate decision having been taken on any of these, that will stand as part of the Schedule and that it will not be necessary to have, after they are dealt with, a general discussion on Section 2.
