Vol. 172 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clonbur (Galway) School.

17.

asked the Minister for Education if he has received an application for the building of a new national school at Cloughbrock, Clonbur; and, if so, when he will be in a position to sanction it.

The reverend manager has made an application for a grant towards the cost of erecting a new national school at Cloughbrock, Clonbur, County Galway, and a site offered by him has been accepted as suitable. Certain arrangements in in connection with the production of evidence of title to the site have still to be made before my Department will be in a position to sanction a building grant for the new school. I am unable to say at present when a grant will be sanctioned.
