Vol. 173 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Wexford Estate.

43.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Brennan estate, Killanne, County Wexford, was acquired by the Land Commission; and whether they propose to divide the estate without further delay.

This question appears to relate to the former holdings of Patrick Brennan at Springmount and Knockatober which were transferred to the Land Commission in 1955.

It is hoped that the division of these lands can be combined with the solution of some very difficult problems affecting nearby lands and the division has been held up on that account. The Land Commission are endeavouring to press the solution of these problems to a conclusion but it is not possible at this stage to say how soon that can be done.
