asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the reason for an early morning raid by uniformed and civilian dressed members of the Garda on the home of a respectable citizen of the State, Mr. James Quinn, Glenville House, New Mills, County Donegal, on the 13th January, 1959.

The Gardaí were searching for unlicensed firearms and the search was carried out on the authority of a search order issued under Section 24 of the Firearms Act, 1925.
