asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the acute congestion which exists in the General Post Office, Limerick City; whether any proposals exists for the alleviation of the position; and, if so, if he will state their nature.

I am aware that there is need for improvement of the public office in Limerick Post Office and proposals have been formulated for its enlargement and modernisation. The work will be carried out as soon as possible.
