Vol. 173 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Curragh Internment Camp: Officers in Charge.

42.

asked the Minister for Defence how many officers have been in charge of the Curragh Internment Camp since its opening in 1957; whether any officers have been superseded and, if so, how many, and for what reason.

Three officers have held the appointment of Camp Commandant in charge of the Curragh Internment Camp since its opening in 1957.

One of these officers left the appointment on promotion and a second was transferred to another appointment as a routine military change.
