asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state the number of full-time temporary postmen, temporary Post Office clerks, and temporary telephonists employed in his Department on the 1st March, 1959, or on the nearest convenient date with (a) less than one year's service, (b) over one year's service and less than three years' service, (c) over three years' service and less than six years' service, (d) over six years' service and less than ten years' service, and (e) over ten years' service.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—
