asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the directors of the Irish Sugar Company, and the salary and expenses payable to each member and to the general manager of the company.

The directors of Comhlucht Siúicré Éireann, Teoranta, are: J.E. McEllin (Chairman and Managing Director), D.J. Daly, L. Devlin, B. Dowling, R.B. Godsil, T.J. Harris, R. Roberts.

The remuneration of the Chairman is £900 and that of each of the other directors £500 per annum. The directors are also entitled to be paid their reasonable travelling, hotel, and other expenses incurred in the execution of their duties as directors.

The Minister for Finance has no function in the matter of the appointment and conditions of service of the general manager.
